Description
Changingday are exploring the virtual world to bring change in the real world. We are harnessing the potential of VR to give autistic people greater confidence while enjoying a game designed specifically for them. We will be exploring the potential of this new technology to build world-class VR experiences.
History
OriginsOriginally, Changingday was an autism-focused charity founded in the 2000s by husband-and-wife team Nick and Alison Lang, who wished to provide support and events for the community after their daughter was diagnosed with autism.
VR for AutismIn 2018, the couple stumbled upon research which strongly suggested that the immersive nature of virtual reality could be therapeutic or even beneficial for autistic people. So began a long journey to creating their first videogame: BLINNK and the Vacuum of Space, an autism-friendly VR adventure.
